We are excited to announce we have 78 children signed up to receive books! Our first registrants should be receiving their books in the next few weeks. It does take about 2 months for the process to begin.
The Friends of the Libraries have been our biggest donors! We appreciate them!
Our next CAT Meeting will be on Thu, Sept 29th @ 4:30 pm at the
Fernandina Beach Library. We are going to try to meet on the first Thursdays, however, school began this month (I was swamped) and Sept 1st, Susan and I will be at two separate schools’ open houses registering children!
The focus of the Sept meeting will be the Ferst 360 Cocktail Party which is scheduled for Oct. 20th. We have secured Mary Kay Andrews to attend! If you know of any potential donors we can invite, please bring their names and addresses or email them to us. We will also be asking for volunteers to help with specific jobs on the CAT Team.
