Nassau County recognizes employees

Each month, Nassau County employees with 20+ years of service are recognized at a Board of County Commissioners meeting.

Rob Hutchison (Fire/Rescue) 23 years

Kelly Gunnell (Fire/Rescue) 21 years
Darron Ayscue (Fire/Rescue) 21 years

Joe Nordeng (Facilities Maintenance) 20 years

Commissioners have frequently complimented county employees on many occasions in the past and did so again on January 15th expressing their appreciation, respect and commendation of those who serve Nassau County and its residents.  According to Brittany Sloan,  in the county’s Human Resources Department, there are currently 362 employees.  The average tenure is approximately 9 1/2 years.
