True ValueThe Miller Freedom Center Boys & Girls Club will receive 20 gallons of paint to improve facilities before the start of the school year.

As students get ready to go back to school, the Club is getting a fresh coat of paint thanks to a partnership with True Value Store. The Miller Club is one of many across the nation selected to receive a “Painting a Brighter Future” Grant.

“The beginning of school is the start of a new year for our Clubs, so thanks to this partnership we are able to present a refreshed inviting atmosphere for our kids this year,” said Jamie Thompson, Chief Operating Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County. “We are grateful for our local True Value’s support as we help our kids build great futures and start the school year off right.” Miller Boys & Girls Club will use the donation to paint the canteen and improve the welcome area of the club. Club members will also participate in the painting process.
