FSCJ to Host In-Person “Paying for College” Event for Students Interested in Taking Summer or Fall Classes

Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host an in-person event, “Paying for College,” to highlight the various ways students can fund their college education.

This event will feature Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion and college application labs, as well as information on academic programs, scholarships, grant opportunities and financial assistance programs available to students. Scholarship essay writing labs will also be available. Admissions and Financial Aid experts will be on hand to answer any questions students may have as they prepare for the Summer or Fall Term.

Students and parents/guardians should bring their Social Security Number, driver’s license or alien registration card (if you are not a U.S. citizen), 2019 IRS 1040 or latest tax return & W-2 statements, and Federal Student Aid ID (to create an FSA ID, visit fsaid.ed.gov).

There will be two sessions to choose from, 9 to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Space is limited and registration is required. To learn more and register, go to visit.fscj.edu/event/178666.
