Florida’s High School Graduation rates for 2015-16 recently released

Florida’s high school graduation rate increased by 2.8 percentage points over the last year and has increased significantly during the past eleven years. Nassau County’s graduation rate for the 2015-16 school year is 91.4%, up from 90.9% last year.

Congratulations Nassau County for working to meet the learning needs of every student! Nassau County’s Graduation Rate:

 2015-16     91.4%

2014-15     90.5%

2013-14     87.8%

2012-13     86.7%

Florida’s graduation rate is a cohort graduate rate. A cohort is defined as a group of students on the same schedule to graduate. The graduation rate measures the percentage of students who graduate within four years of their first enrollment in ninth grade.

Graduation rates were also released for Students with Disabilities. Nassau County’s graduation rate for these students is 84.4% for 2016, up from 82.0% in 2015.
