Fernandina Observer Candidate Forum – Thursday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m.

Candidates vying for a seat on the Fernandina Beach City Commission will gather in the city commission chambers at the corner of South 2nd and Ash Streets on October 16, at 7:00 p.m. to respond to questions presented by moderator Larry Myers. Prior to his retirement, Myers served as Fernandina Beach City Manager, Nassau County Administrator, and was the former Legislative Aide to now Senator Aaron Bean.

Group 2 – Top to Bottom – Incumbent Charlie Corbett, Tim Poynter, Roy G. Smith,
Group 3 – Robin Lentz, Incumbent Sarah Pelican.

The forum will be available for viewing the night of the forum and throughout the upcoming weeks through live streaming from the City of Fernandina Beach website. City officials are now indicating the forum will be available for viewing through the Comcast public access channel 264.
