Exec to Talk on Rayonier’s Forest Future

The Amelia Island Museum of History will host Mark Hebert’s presentation “Rayonier: Sustainably Managing Our Resources for the Future” for its July Brown Bag Lunch on Wednesday, July 5, at noon.

Sustainable forest management provides a continuous flow of goods and materials that we use in our everyday lives. Ensuring that these forest products are supplied in a sustainable manner while protecting key resources like water and air quality, wildlife habitat, critical habitat for threatened and endangered species, and carbon sequestration and storage are key values to the forest industry and Rayonier. Mark Hebert, Vice President of Eastern Forest Resources at Rayonier, will discuss sustainable forestry in our next Brown Bag.

Attendance is free and open to the public and attendees may bring their lunch. Seating is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.
