This free workshop, offered by Nassau Alcohol Crime Drug Abatement Coalition (NACDAC), is a great opportunity for families seeking positive child rearing techniques and will cover effective approaches for achieving this goal.

Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, Dr. Mae Barker, of Parenting Training Solutions will convey parenting tools that can be used for varying ages from toddlers to teenagers. This free workshop will cover how to improve your child’s direction following, household involvement, and homework completion.

The “Essential Parenting Toolkit: A ‘How To’ Workshop” will be held at various Nassau County Schools. There will be two workshops held at West Nassau Schools on Tuesday, November 15, beginning with Hilliard Elementary School from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and a second workshop scheduled at Bryceville Elementary School from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. that same day. There will be another session in Fernandina Beach at Southside Elementary School on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Reserve your space today by phoning 904-277-3699.

The Essential Parenting Toolkit includes parenting strategies that can be individualized to your children or family situation. Attendees will also be able to ask questions specific to their children or family situations in a welcoming environment and hear from other parents that might be experiencing similar behaviors.
