Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines and head to downtown Fernandina Beach where Florida’s friendliest farmers market will be set up on North Seventh Street adjacent to Centre Street’s display of 300 iconic cars at the 25th Annual Amelia Cruizers Car Show!

The farmers market will be open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with nearly 40 booths of traditional items found in a true farmers market. Open every Saturday, there will be seasonal vegetables by Kings Kountry Produce and hydroponic vegetables from Bacons Select Produce. There will be spices from Percy’s Spice Kitchen and Dave’s Rub and Dub Dubs. Something Good has gluten-free breads, sweet breads, and cookies, and Vegan Amelia has vegan sweets, breads, cakes, and scones. Fresh baked breads will be set out by Ferra’s Bakery and the Great Harvest Bread Company. Chesser Seafood will have local, wild-caught shrimp, and Butthead Farms will be bringing goat milk, cheeses, and flavored vinegars. Ganas Pecans has hot boiled peanuts and almonds flavored with chocolate, cinnamon, glazed, and even plain. Stop by Joanna Jordon’s booth and learn the health benefits of elderberry syrup. Jay’s Marketplace will have their tasty, chopped olive salad, Joy of Garlic will have their dressings, marinades, and sauces, and Simply Savory will have their dip packets in sweet, hot, and savory flavors.
Osborne Ranch will have loofahs, pillow sprays, body products, and goat soaps made from goats that reside on her family’s Fernandina farm, and Natural Insect Sprays will be back on Saturday with their, well, natural insect sprays. Join these vendors, and others for a great day in the fresh outdoors, rain or shine.
We have two Booths with a Cause Saturday, the Amelia Island Book Festival, who are pleased to announce the return of the AIBF Gala on Friday, February 18th at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. This year’s event will be a hybrid event featuring both in-person and live-streamed activities. Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 1st. We also have the Board of Nassau County Young Life where young people are encouraged to experience life as God designed it to be lived.
An alternative to visiting the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market would be to check out our new sister market, the Wildlight Market Place, featuring food booths, food trucks, and arts and crafts, located off of A1A, State Road 200, just east of Interstate-95.
For more information, you can find both markets on Facebook.
