Early morning mobile home fire – Three dead

Sheriff 1On December 13, 2015, at approximately 4:37 am, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office received an emergency call in reference to a mobile home fire at 95109 Leo Drive Fernandina Beach. The Nassau County Fire Department was dispatched to extinguish the fire. Once the fire was out a search of the structure found three individuals who had apparently died in the fire. The state Fire Marshall’s Office was called to assist in determining the cause of the fire. The bodies will be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Jacksonville to determine positive Identity and exact cause of death. Once more information is known it will be released.
