City of Fernandina Beach deputy chief, and fire marshal Jason Higginbotham issues caution to the public on the hazards of using a Vornado Air Electric Space Heater. According to Higginbotham, the space heater is a “very common space heater that [he sees] around town.”
Vorondo Air is recalling the product due to reports of death, fire, and burn hazards.
The product was sold from August 2009 to March 2018 at the following stores and websites:
Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, Menards, Orchard Supply, Target and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Target.com, Vornado.com and other websites from August 2009 through March 2018 for about $30.
