Another sign has been added at City of Fernandina Beach ocean-side parks. A “Notice” now appears alerting beach goers to discourage the use of balloons, since balloons and sea turtles don’t mix.

Vice-Mayor Kreger said he “anticipates a Resolution supporting the program at the 5 Dec 2016 City Commission meeting and potential implementation of the program by Nassau County. Now the work starts of including the information in outreach and education programs.”

Great Idea, All worthwhile information on the Pole, The problem is, it looks like more beach clutter. We have a wonderful public beach, one of the best in Florida. Please build an attractive Billboard, with all this information on it, and find a proper location.
