Buddy Mondlock is one of those singer/songwriters with the gift of being able to draw you into his world – and what a richly imagined world it is. A verse from one of his best-known songs, “The Kid,” (recorded by Peter, Paul & Mary) says it all:
I’m the kid who has this habit of dreaming, sometimes gets me in trouble too. But the truth is I could no more stop dreaming than I could make them all come true.
Thanks to St. Peter’s Outreach Program and the generous support of First Coast Community Bank, Mondlock will perform at “An Evening of Story & Song” in Burns Hall on Saturday, Nov. 21st at 7:30 pm. A $20 donation (100% of which goes to the artist) will be requested at the door. For advance reservations to guarantee a seat, or for more information, call your hosts, Mark & Donna Paz Kaufman at 415-1388 or email [email protected].
