Editor’s Note: Nancy Fishburn moved to Fernandina Beach in 2005 with her husband Stan from Atlanta, Georgia where she was employed at the public library. She is one of Fernandina’s most enthusiastic residents who enjoys taking in the simple pleasures of island life.
