This photo was taken on the Greenway just north of Jasmine Street. Although Annie was on her regular run, she had to stop to capture this reflection.
Editor’s Note: Annie Sparkle was born and bred in Chicago and arrived to the area four years ago. For 14 years Annie worked as an evidence manager at a crime lab in Chicago, and prior to that worked for a charitable organization’s used bookstore. After calling Fernandina her home, she began to volunteer for the Friends of the Library sorting donated used books. Now Annie leads the used book selling efforts and helps bring in thousands of dollars to support the Fernandina Beach branch. We thank Annie for her contribution to the Fernandina Observer.
