Four stores are opening this summer at The Villages of Amelia Island, located at 463855 E. State Road 200 in the fast-growing area of Yulee.

Sleiman Enterprises is pleased to announce new tenants:
Ulta Cosmetics
Dunkin’ Donuts
Mattress Firm
Tropical Smoothie

“Yulee and Amelia Island residents deserve great stores near them,” Sleiman Enterprises partner Toney Sleiman said. “Nassau County is growing rapidly. Opening these stores will create local jobs which will benefit the entire community.”

Sleiman Enterprises owns, develops and manages this shopping center as well as more than 100 other properties across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. The Villages of Amelia Island shopping center opened in 2012 and has more than 134,000 square feet of retail shopping space.

The Villages of Amelia Island stores mark the first location for both Tropical Smoothie and Ulta Cosmetics to open in Nassau County. It will be the fifth Northeast Florida location for the cosmetics chain, which sells a variety of beauty, skincare brands, men’s and women’s fragrances and hair care products. This Ulta Cosmetics location will include a salon.

This is Nassau County’s second Mattress Firm and its third Dunkin’ Donuts location.

These four new stores join tenants Aspen Dental, Barberitos, Eye Envy Optical & Sunglasses, Great Clips, Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, Kohl’s, Luxy Nail Spa, Panera Bread, Publix, Ross Dress for Less, TJ Maxx and Vivia Wireless.

Is it possible to refuse permits for any further mattress stores?

Isn’t there just something inherently wrong about naming a place the Villages of Amelia Island when it is 3 miles away from Amelia Island? I guess the Villages of Yulee didn’t sound quite as appealing.

I’m so thrilled that we’ll have another mattress store…we were desperate and losing sleep at the dearth of these in Amelia Island/Nassau County!
