The recent tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL has impacted people across the nation. To help assist the victims and their families, 1,000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria will donate 20 percent of all sales on Tuesday, March 6th from 11am – 9pm to the Stoneman Douglas Victims’ Fund on
GoFundMe.com. Nationwide support has already generated almost $2.5 million in the 12 days since the page was first created.

With the full support of his staff, restaurant manager Prakash Patel expects a solid turnout from the local Fernandina community on Tuesday. “What happened down in Parkland was a national tragedy, and we felt compelled to do something to help our fellow Floridians down south,” Patel said. “We wanted to do something to show the victims that we are thinking about them and their families, and we’re humbled to have this opportunity to help them out.”

1000 Degrees in Fernandina Beach is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. To learn more about 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, please visit facebook.com/1000degreespizzafernandina/ or call (904) 775-5247.
