Coastal Furnishings Closing for Good

After almost a decade of serving the coastal communities of Nassau County, independent furniture retailer Coastal Home Furnishings will close permanently. The family-owned home furnishings and accessories store begins total liquidation Feb. F15.

Owners Ben and Lezlie Rue originally opened Coastal Home Furnishings in 2015 in Kingsland, Georgia. After rapid growth, they moved from that 5,000-square-foot Kingsland location to the current 28,000-square-foot store in Fernandina Beach. Throughout their retail journey, the Rues have remained unwavering in their passion for providing beautiful, customizable furniture to families and homes in their community.

“Our family has always prioritized making quality furniture affordable for everyone. We are grateful for all the loyal customers who have supported our small business since its inception,” said Lezlie.

The Coastal Home Furnishings going-out-of-business sale will open to the public Feb. 15 at 1112 S. 14th St., next to Club 14 Fitness in the 8 Flags Plaza. Shoppers will find deep discounts across the huge showroom, and a vast selection of furniture. Home accessories will be 50% off. Famous name brands include Fusion, Parker House, Leather Italia, Southern Motion, New Classic, Crown Mark, Stanley Chair, Mega Motion, Cottage Creek, Howard Miller, Restonic, and Southerland. Area rugs and floor clocks will also be available for purchase.
