Editor’s Note: How fortunate we are to have Steve Leimberg share his photographs with us, especially when we are in the midst of an astronomical wonder such as Jupiter and Saturn pairing up. According to the New York Times, Jupiter and Saturn are “paired up in the southwestern sky, appearing closer than they have in more than 800 years . . . ” If you have missed it, you have one more night to check the southwestern sky about two hours after sunset.
Thank you Steve–an amazing photo. So many of us tried to see this, but only saw two dots. You made it come alive.
Such an amazing talent is he.
Wow……thank you Steve!!
Of course it’s a Steve Leimberg photo.
Thank you Steven for sharing that photo! That’s a much better look than from our driveway.
Steve, what a beautiful photo. Seeing Jupiter and Saturn (especially its rings) helps us keep the perspective that there is so much more to life than our mere human existence. I remain humble and in awe.
Awesome photo! Thank you for sharing your work with us!
Thanks, Steve!! Great shot!! We did go out to see it last night.
shouldn’t that date be december 21st?? 2020
