Nassau County Emergency Management: As of 11:00 AM, June 18, 2020, FDOH Nassau has one new confirmed case of COVID-19. The case is a three year old male who had known contact with a confirmed case and no travel-related exposure. The Health Department is conducting case investigation and contact tracing on this case. The individual will remain in isolation until released by public health. This brings the total case count to date to 97 for Nassau County (89 residents, 8 non-FL residents).
70 of the 89 Nassau residents have been released from isolation – the eight non-FL resident cases were investigated and monitored by their State Health Department and have been or will be released by the public health officials in their home state – we do not track those details.
