“Zero Percentage Change” to vote tabulations after Sunday’s Nassau County recount

Editor’s Note: A previous post regarding “Zero Changes” was inaccurate. We have been notified from the source of our information that it was discovered their information  should have been “Zero Percentage Change.” There was one vote that was off in favor of DeSantis. That  one vote did not change the percentage of votes for either DeSantis or Gillum.  Our congratulations to Vicki Cannon, the Canvassing Board,  and the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections’ staff for a successful election and recount.

Nassau County Democrats are reporting that Sunday’s recount of votes by the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections is finished and there were “zero percentage changes” in the vote totals. A manual recount of the over and under votes, if ordered, will occur later this week.” According to Florida Election laws, in the event the recount shows the vote margin is less than or equal to 0.25% , a manual recount is required. The manual recount applies only for ballots sorted by the automatic tabulating equipment showing undervotes or overvotes.
