Invasive exotic plants know no boundaries.  One of the greatest threats to our state parks is invasive exotic plants.  These plants are popular in yards but easily spread and take over natural areas.  Fort Clinch State Park and the University of Florida/IFAS Extension want to partner with you to put a stop to the invasion.

Join them Friday, December 13th at Fort Clinch State Park for class from 9-11:00 a.m.  There will a guided nature hike following the class from 11-11:30 a.m.

Registration Cost is $5 per person, and breakfast will be provided.

During the morning participants will learn how to identify and remove invasive plants that may be in their yards, receive a native plant and invasive plant ID cards, and free admission into Fort Clinch State Park.

Call the UF/IFAS Nassau County Extension Service to register at (904) 879-1019.
