Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County is pleased to announce that WestRock has continued their support for our Clubs as one of Our Guardians.
WestRock, the second largest producer of containerboard in North America, recently celebrated its 80th anniversary in Fernandina Beach and has been a valued partner of Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau for years.
Eric Schmidt, Community Outreach and Training Lead for WestRock, presented the check and said, “As an employer of many county residents, and as community partners in general, we see the value and impact that WestRock’s ongoing Guardian sponsorship with Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County has on our local youth.”
Our Guardians make a commitment to sponsor one or more children for three years. All Guardians are invited to the annual Guardians Event as thanks for their consistent support that helps keep the programs in our Clubs at Miller Freedom Center (942259 Old Nassauville Road) and Roberts Learning & Achievement Center (1175 Lime Street) going year round.
