Studies have shown that therapy animals help lower a patient’s blood pressure and decrease stress. “It’s absolutely heart-lifting to see how these amazing dogs and cats bring comfort and smiles to our patients and their families.” Said Betsy Miller, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, Community Hospice & Palliative Care.
