House promo:  Never has there been a river home that has had more passion and heart poured on it by a team. This is the quintessential New Old Home that pulls on the great traditions of its backyard in Fernandina Beach. The architecture was by none other than Historical Architecture who has shaped Southern Vernacular Architecture for the past 40 years. From there the talented and ever gracious hand of Heather Chaddux has made this home speak to those roots and traditions with something new but also something new around every corner. None of this would have happened without the “grace under pressure” team of the artisans of Riverside Homes. Finally, none of this happens without the support of our Sponsors so our thanks to all of them for making this home what it is. We invite you to come and enjoy what is truly a very special home that will set the tone for a new island development called Crane Island right here on Amelia Island, Florida.

As you may already know, the Amelia Island Museum of History was chosen as the charity of choice for the Southern Living Idea House on Crane Island.  The Museum’s contribution to the project involves acting as hosts/hostesses at the house during the time that it will be open for viewing.  In return the Museum will receive a portion of all ticket sales, which will aid the Museum’s capital campaign in funding new exhibits.
