The 2019 “Solar Plunge” took place at Beach Access #40 in Fernandina Beach on New Year’s Day at 12:00 noon. The faithful and newcomers came together in their bathing suits to share a song then the swing of a golf club signaled them to run and jump into the ocean for this New Year Day tradition.
