The work boat is now in place as the Fernandina Harbor Marina prepares to tackle ten Hurricane Matthew repairs. The projects include replacing/reinstalling gangways to Docks 1, 2, and 3, and boat ramp repairs to Dock 2. In addition repairs to landing of Docks 3, and 6, boat ramp repairs. Repair work is being done by Harbor Marine Dock Company of Ponte Vedra, Florida.
The increased demand for contractors following Hurricane Matthew and FEMA requirements resulted in repair delays.
