Friends of the Library is pleased to announce that there will be a reception for “Native American Art Collectors” in conjunction with the current exhibit at the Fernandina Beach Library, 25 N 4th St, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 5-7 pm.

This exhibit showcases Native American Art from several prominent collectors who live in our Fernandina Beach community. We invite the public to come and see the current exhibit and meet the collectors who have so graciously loaned pieces from their collections. If you own a Native American art object you wish to share with other lovers of Native American art, we invite you to bring it to the reception to share with other attendees during the reception. Native American hors d’oeuvres will be served.

The exhibition represents the major Native American regions, including the Northeast, Plains, Southwest, Southeast and Northwest and offers viewers a broad cross-section of Native American art forms including prints, masks, rugs, rattles, shields and kachinas.
