Rayonier Advanced Materials
The Rayonier Advanced Materials Foundation has presented more than $110K in direct grants and designated United Way matching grants to 36 area public schools, agencies and nonprofit organizations. The awards were distributed during the foundation’s annual grant breakfast at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club on April 30.

CA McDonald, general manager for the Rayonier Advanced Materials Fernandina plant, presented the grants to community organization leaders. A portion of the funds was raised through an employee United Way campaign and matched by The Rayonier Advanced Materials Foundation.
“Our employees continually demonstrate their dedication to our community through their generous contributions to the United Way campaign, their annual United Way golf tournament and the hundreds of hours they volunteer every year to advance the mission of charitable organizations across Nassau County,” said McDonald. “The Rayonier Advanced Materials Foundation is proud to support them in their efforts and provide much needed funding to so many organizations that make our community a better place to live.”
In 1952, Rayonier established The Rayonier Foundation — now known as The Rayonier Advanced Materials Foundation — as a vehicle to provide philanthropic benefits to the communities where the company operates. The endowment has contributed more than $15M to hundreds of educational, civic, and cultural, health-related, environmental and United Way projects in its history.
