In celebration of April, National Poetry Month, you are invited to a program created especially for our community. Plein Air in the Florida Woods and Waters, presented by Lola Haskins, complements the Island Art Assn. Show and Sale themed Living in our Maritime Forest. Location is the Island Art Ed. Bldg., 18 N. 2nd St., Fern. Bch. Time 4-6 pm.
Lola is retired Univ. of FL faculty and Honorary Chancellor for the FL State Poets Assn. She is the recipient of two FL Book Awards, two NEAs, four FL artist fellowships, and the Emily Dickinson prize from the Poetry Society of America. She has published over 15 books.
Reception, Program, and Book Signing includes wine, coffee, snacks and drawings for prizes. Suggested donation $5,00 to help cover costs. Open to the public.
