Old Town update

Old Town residents send heartfelt thanks to city employees in the Maintenance department. The Plaza bluff has been cut back to better reveal the beautiful river views and sunsets.

A mulched broad walking path has been created along Marine Street, from White Street to San Fernando, extending the old Spanish grid. This will provide easy access to the shell beach, preventing further erosion of the bluff from the dangerous, washed-out informal trails.
The Bicentennial bench has been expertly sanded and weatherproofed and looks like new. And, a dream for many Old Town residents and visitors has at last been realized.

Visitors and residents enjoy the views from the bench and walk the new Marine Street path.
