A wonderful opportunity to meet those candidates that are willing to meet with their constituency. It will be interesting to see who shows up and who doesn’t.
When Janet Adkins was out canvassing this afternoon, I asked if she would be attending because I was in the middle of something and didn’t have time to chat. She indicated that she was unaware of this event, so I don’t know if the invitations have gone out yet. I hope that all candidates will be able to attend because it will certainly make things easier for constituents.
Candidates whose names will be on the August ballot in the vast majority of county races were sent emails and received phone calls inviting them to attend. We look forward to an interesting and informative discussion.
Theresa – The date that I see here is set for a date of my nieces wedding, we will be at the wedding which is out of town and will not be able to attend. I wish the organizers would have made an effort to coordinate the schedules. We get back into town at 11pm that same evening. Normally when these sort of events are scheduled there is an effort to coordinate the schedules with the candidates. Looks like we will not be able to make this one.
Thanks Doug. We know.
Will this be recorded for those of us who can’t make it?
Yes it will. We will educate people on this later.
