Nassau County Sheriff’s Office conducts ‘Operation No Trap Zone’

Yulee, Fla. – The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office today announced the results of “Operation No Trap Zone,” which was an operation to reduce illegal drug activity within Nassau County.

Operation No Trap ZoneOver the past few months the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division has conducted numerous undercover drug operations within our community. Based on these operations warrants were obtained on several individuals.

During Operation No Trap Zone law enforcement officers were able to arrest 20 felons and take them off the streets. A total of 47 felony charges were made. More charges and more arrests are anticipated as a result of Operation No Trap Zone.

Numerous types of drugs were recovered ranging from, Marijuana, Crack Cocaine, Xanax, Suboxone, Hydrocodone, and items of drug paraphernalia. Detectives also seized a 2010 Dodge Charger, 2012 Ford Taurus, and recovered a stolen Ruger 357caliber revolver. All subjects arrested were booked into the Nassau County Detention Facility on their respective charges.

“We’re going to continue to investigate drug crimes in this county relentlessly,” said Sheriff Bill Leeper. “If you have knowledge of someone dealing illegal drugs within Nassau County please let us know.”

Those arrested during Operation No Trap Zone are:

• Emanuel Drummond , 46, from Fernandina Beach, 1 count sale of cocaine
• Frank Malik Drummond , 19, from Fernandina Beach , 2 counts sale of    cocaine
• Christopher Raynard Clayton , 46, from Fernandina Beach, 1 count sale of cocaine, 1 count sale of controlled substance – (Hydrocodone)
• Jolyn Carlene Jones, 55 , from Fernandina Beach, 3 counts sale of cocaine
• Roger Osborne Godwin, 55, from Fernandina Beach, 1 count sale of cocaine
• Marcus Floyd, 34, from Fernandina Beach , 3 counts sale of cocaine
• George Michael Shea, 31, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of controlled substance (Suboxone)
• William Delaney ,31, from Fernandina Beach, 1 count sale of cocaine
• Carlos Jones, from Orange Park , 3 counts sale of cocaine
• James Rogers Jr, 36, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of cocaine
• Christopher Allen Casey, 29, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of marijuana
• William Carl Jones, 74, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of controlled substance (Xanax, Hydrocodone)
• Carl Brent Jones, 52, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of cocaine
• Donna Marie Price, 53, from Fernandina Beach, 1 count sale of cocaine, 2 counts sale of controlled substance (Hydrocodone)
• Michael David Blue Jr., 24, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of cocaine
• Quincy Blue, 23, from Fernandina Beach, 3 counts sale of cocaine, 1 count possession of cocaine
• Jeremy Keith Smith, 18, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of cocaine, 1 count flee and attempt to elude law enforcement
• Megan Leigh Peters, 34, from Fernandina Beach, 3 count sale of cocaine
• Eric Steven Delaney, 40, from Fernandina Beach, 1 count sale of controlled substance (Hydrocodone)
• Ray Anthony Bartley, 57, from Fernandina Beach, 2 counts sale of cocaine

I do hope the Judges will give these folks the maximum sentence allowed under law because these are the ones selling it to your children and grandchildren! Keep up the great work NCSO under the direction of Sheriff Bill Leeper!

Great job….these people need to be behind bars….whats so sad is that this is happening right under our noses in our neighborhoods. … evidently this is becoming a huge problem. …

The sad thing about drugs is that as long as there are people who want to buy them, there will always be someone willing to sell them. So lock up these people, fill up our prisons, but there will soon be new dealers to fill their place, just a sad fact of economics.
