The Nassau County Emergency Management Office provides a wealth of information for county residents on their website to help understand and prepare for weather emergencies.  You can sign up for citizen alerts, learn about special needs during evacuations, and even learn about volunteer opportunities during storm emergencies.

Stay tuned to Jacksonville media for continuing updates and tracking of Hurricane Dorian. The Fernandina Observer will publish updates as we receive them from local government.

Note that there has been no call for evacuation at this time.

In response to inquiries, we present below a map showing the county evacuation zones, should an evacuation be ordered.  Visit the Emergency Management website –https://fl-nassaucounty2.civicplus.com/370/Emergency-Management — for complete information.
