Three months after the reassignment of former Fire Chief Jason Higginbotham, a three person committee will soon recommend to City Manager Joe Gerrity a candidate to fill the top position according to an article in the Nassau County Independent.
The Independent reported six candidates were identified by “a three-member committee tasked with finding a new fire chief . . . Tomorrow [Thursday] it will be in the city manager’s hands.”
