Keep Nassau Beautiful, with Nassau County Solid Waste and Alachua County Environmental Protection Department, postpone the Nassau County HHWC event.

Nassau County, Florida, March 20, 2020 – Nassau County’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection event scheduled April 18, 2020 at the Callahan Convenience Recycling Center has been postponed. At this time a reschedule date has not been confirmed.

Residents are urged to hold items until the next event. Improper disposal of household hazardous waste often results in landfill contamination and harm to the environment. Residents may check options for recycle and waste disposal from the Keep Nassau Beautiful website; https://www.keepnassaubeautiful.org/programs/recycle-and-waste-disposal/ or contact [email protected]

Nassau County’s Waste Tire Amnesty day, scheduled April 4 at the Callahan Convenience Recycling Center has been postponed. At this time a reschedule date has not been confirmed. For more information on waste tire disposal http://www.nassaucountyfl.com/368/Convenience-Recycling-Center or 530-6700.
