Florida Department of Health Updates New COVID-19 Cases, Announces Sixteen Deaths Related to COVID-19

~8,694 positive cases in Florida residents and 314 positive cases in non-Florida residents~

​As of 11:00 AM, April 2 2020, FDOH Nassau has received three new cases with positive COVID-19 testing in Nassau residents. The first case is a 26 year old female who had contact with a confirmed case and is not travel related. The second case is a 63 year old male who had contact with a confirmed case and is not travel related. The third case of a 49 year old male remains under investigation for exposure. The Health Department is conducting case investigation and contact tracing on these cases. The individuals will remain in isolation until released by public health.
