NassauTRANSIT Offers Same-day Paratransit Service for Seniors, Disabled
Due to the challenges created by COVID-19, NassauTRANSIT is changing its reservation policy for registered paratransit passengers. Beginning Monday, March 30, paratransit clients throughout Nassau County may contact NassauTRANSIT and schedule same-day, door-to-door service, depending on available resources.
NassauTRANSIT’s Paratransit Program provides transit services for the elderly, disabled, economically disadvantaged, children at risk and individuals who have no other means of transportation. If you would like to register for the program, go to www.nassautransit.org/transportation-programs/.
