A local woman was arrested at her home at 820 S. 7th Street yesterday, after a narcotics operation by the Fernandina Beach Police Department resulted in evidence of illegal drugs being distributed at the location.
Thomasina McGowen, thirty-four years of age, was arrested at her residence following the execution of a state search warrant for the distribution of narcotics. McGowen was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and drug paraphernalia. McGowen also faces additional charges of sale and delivery of marijuana (x2) and one charge of sale and delivery of cocaine.
McGowen is currently in custody in the Nassau County Detention Facility.
