Joggin for Frogmen – 5k winners

An overcast Saturday morning did not deter a record number of runners, joggers, and trotters traveling from 14 states from participating in this year’s Joggin for Frogmen 5K and Tadpole Trot at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club.

Amalie Nichol the winner of Best Women’s Overall with a time of 24:00.0. Best Men’s Overall went to Christopher Juuan at 20:43.4.

Amalie Nichol won Best Women’s Overall with a time of 24:00.0. Best Men’s Overall went to Christopher Juuan at 20:43.4. A total of 268 real and virtual runners competed this year, including this year’s Tadpole Trot for children who were six years old and younger.

Both the 5K and the Tadpole Trot are hosted by the Navy SEAL Foundation, and 100 percent of the proceeds from the Fernandina event will go to the foundation that has a mission of providing immediate and continuing support to our Special Warfare community, including spouses and children.
