Fernandina Beach Free Concert November 4, 12:30  1st Baptist Church

The Jacksonville Symphony is going out into the community AND bringing the community to the Symphony. The Jacksonville Symphony’s goal to engage community members through a variety of musical opportunities will be on full display the week of November 1 with the Mayo Clinic Community Concert Series. There are 4 FREE community concerts scheduled (a fifth in the spring) as well as the opening registration for the spring Jacksonville Symphony Civic Orchestra application.

Locations and Dates for the community concerts are as follows:

• Artwalk at Hemming Park, November 1, 6:30 pm
• The Bethel Church, November 2, 7:00pm
• Seawalk Pavilion, November 3, 8:00pm
• 1st Baptist Church in Fernandina Bch, 1600 S 8th, Nov 4, 12:30pm
• Artwalk at Hemming Park, May 2, 6:30pm & 8:30pm

CONDUCTOR: Jacksonville Symphony Assistant Conductor Deanna Tham will be conducting the concerts throughout the community.

CIVIC ORCHESTRA: Now in its third year and expanding to two weeks in the 2017-2018 season by popular demand, the Jacksonville Symphony Civic Orchestra unites community musicians and orchestra musicians in a side by side concert. Participants receive rehearsals, sectionals and additional opportunities to learn and engage all year long. There is NO audition, just a registration requirement.
