The Island Art Association Gallery is up and running after being closed during January for major roof repairs. The gallery will participate in Second Saturday Artwalk. Their annual Nassau County middle and high schools student art show is featured this month. This event is one of several IAA student programs, including donations of art supplies to our schools, college scholarship, summer camp, and free monthly art project. The student art show reception is open to the public, 1-3 pm on Sunday, Feb. 10. Awards will be given and the show judge will comment; Georganna Mullis served as judge. Georganna is a founding member of the IAA, creator of IAA’s Nouveau Art shows, and works in all art mediums.

The gallery is located at 18 North 2nd St. in historic downtown Fernandina Beach. More information about IAA’s classes, workshops, membership, and support of its charitable and educational mission is found at islandart.org
