Hatton retires after 20 years with the City of Fernandina Beach Police Department

On May 31, 2019, a twenty year employee, Margie Hatton retired from the City of Fernandina Beach Police Department. Margie served as a staff assistant in the records section.

Appearing with Margie Hatton are Chief Jim Hurley, Assistant Chief Mark Foxworth, and Captain David Bishop.

According to the police department Facebook announcement, “For visitors to the FBPD, Margie was usually the first person who greeted them and helped with obtaining report copies or obtaining assistance in reporting crimes. We wish Margie well in her retirement and appreciate the many years she has been part of the FBPD team.”
