Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host the second event in its new Business Speaker Series, presented by First Florida Credit Union. “How Advanced Infrastructure Promotes Local Business and Economic Growth” will feature a panel discussion with local civic and business leaders.

Moderated by Lake Ray, executive director of First Coast Manufacturers Association and former state representative, panel speakers will include Jeff Sheffield, executive director of North Florida TPO, Greg Evans, secretary of District Two, FDOT and Aaron Bowman, senior vice president of business development for JAXUSA Partnership and Jacksonville City Council, District 3.

The series was made possible by a $250,000 commitment from First Florida Credit Union to support initiatives that will help local students and community members become future business leaders. The funding helped launch the series and will bolster the College’s Financial Skills Academy over the span of five years.
