Members of the Friends of the Library Book Club selected the following books to read and discuss at upcoming meetings: An American Marriage by Tayari Jones, April 11; Milkman by Anna Burns, May 9; The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz, June 13; Warlight by Michael Ondaatje, July 11; The Friend by Sigrid Nunez, August 8; The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson, September 12; Hidden Tapestry by Debra Dean, October 10; The Razor’s Edge by Somerset Maugham, November 14; The Untouchable by John Banville, December 12; Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz, January 9; Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks, February 14.
The group meets at 7 p.m. in the Parlor of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Discussions are led by retired college English professors Norm and Marilyn Wesley. The programs are free, and all are welcome.
