The Friends of Fort Clinch (FOFC), recently elected new members and officers to serve on their board. Pictured are Don Hughes – President. Stewart Pikula, Sandra Baker-Hinton, Jim McCannell – Vice President, Jane Malenke, Dustin Nemati, Jane Bailey – Secretary, Carrie McCannell Scruggs – Treasurer, and Caleb Wilson.

FOFC is a non-profit, community-based Citizen’s Support Organization whose purpose is to support the preservation of the natural and cultural resources at Fort Clinch State Park. Through community fund-raising and grant acquisitions, the FOFC enables restoration projects at the historic fort, supports special events and educational programming, provides tools and equipment to assist park rangers, and expands and improves the park’s renowned living history program. FOFC works closely with the local community to be an integral part of Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, and Nassau County. Board meetings are six-times a year and open to the public.
