Florida State College Jacksonville to host “Community Wellness Summit” with Northeast Florida Council on Alcoholism and Drug Addiction

WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), in partnership with Northeast Florida Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (NEFCADA), will host a Community Wellness Summit to educate the community on topics related to health and overall wellness.

Community members, students and professionals are invited to come and learn about topics related to the significant increases in suicide and the need for suicide prevention strategies, health and well-being, integrated health care, mental health, substance use prevention, trauma informed practices and other issues that affect our community.

With six breakout sessions and three keynote speakers, attendees will be able to learn from a variety of individuals and experts in the field. Professionals will receive 9 Continuing Education Units (CEU) for attending.
