First Presbyterian Church hosts BOGO collection drive for Barnabas

Barnabas Center
Press Release
October 17, 2019

First Presbyterian Church of Fernandina Beach will collect food donations and personal hygiene products on Thursday, October 24th to support Barnabas programs.

This is the second year the First Presbyterian Church is doing their BOGO collection drive. The church will collect items at the Publix in Fernandina Beach. Items that may be donated include, but are not limited to: food items, soap, body wash, detergent, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, shampoo, wipes, diapers, toilet paper, etc.

The need for food assistance continues to exist throughout Nassau County. Almost 10,000 of our neighbors often don’t know from where their next meal will come. Barnabas is thankful for the support we receive from the community toward our many programs that help local residents.
