The Fernandina Beach Pride Board of Directors announced today that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the second annual Pride Parade and Festival is moving from Saturday, June 6, 2020 to Saturday, September 26, 2020. “We are moving our event to ensure that we can have the safest and best possible event for the Nassau County community” said Genece Minshew, President of Fernandina Beach Pride.
The September event will have the same fun parade, festival, vendors, kid’s zone, food trucks and music as was planned for the June date. Sponsorship opportunities are still open and available. We urge everyone to follow state and federal recommendations; stay indoors, self-quarantine and wash your hands. We will all get through this safely when we work together.
