The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market will be open on Leap Day, February 29th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with royal red shrimp, Rub-A-Dub-Dub spices, Riverwood Candles, and Tea Nation, name only a few of our wonderful vendors. This amazing outdoor farmers market is located on North Seventh Street, between Centre and Alachua Streets, under the Spanish moss draped oak trees. Come for the seasonal produce, fresh baked breads, and natural body products, then stay for the fellowship, live music and to support our local non-profit Booth with a Cause, Take Stock in Children.

Rub-A-Dub-Dub spices include Dave’s 5 ounce shakers of original BBQ dry rub seasoning which is a low sodium spice blend, his Happy Habanero Pepper BBQ dry rub, and his Mighty Mild BBQ dry rub; all seasonings are made for meat, seafood or vegetables. Royal Red shrimp are in season from our local Atlantic Ocean waters until May and Chesser Seafood will have them available at the farmers market. Springtime foundation plants, blooming baskets, patio plants, ground covers, herbs and more can all be found at the farmers market.

Music this week is “Light the Moon”, an acoustic duo with keyboards, guitar, and rich harmonies. They play popular hits from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

The Fernandina Beach Arts Market will return in two weeks, on the second Saturday of March.
